Lauren, I don't know if you read these comments that pelpoe left you or not, but it is worth a try. My name is Milana and I'm 31. I just seen the video on hotmail about your accident and wish you a speedy recovery. I'm kinda in the same situation as you, but in a different way. I have a disease called VHL (tumour disease) which affects the main organs in the body and it is rare. I lost vision in my left eye a few years ago because of a tumour in the eye and eventually my eye will have to come out when it starts hurting. I lost my left adrenal gland on my kidney and now in 3 to 4 weeks time will lose that whole kidney which I found out about 3 weeks ago. Right after this surgery I will lose my right adrenal and 3 parts of my right. Kidney dialysis was talked about but, I'm not gonna worry about it until that day comes. I think you are a strong person like myself. No good to stay in your home and be depressed about it. You showed courage when you went out in public with your family. It's alright to cry because I do it every now and then to help easy the pain and thoughts. Best of luck to you and your recovery and if you every wanted to email me here's my address .
